On top of Partitions, IsoBuster also fully supports and interprets FAT, NTFS, HFS and UDF. These are all file systems that are used on Hard Drives. The most common ones are NTFS and FAT-32, But FAT-16, HFS, HFS+ and all flavours of UDF are also fully supported.

IsoBuster can find and recover deleted files for you, for instance on a FAT file system the deleted files are shown at once. Furthermore are there very advanced full surface scanning functions that will scrape the hard drive for any and all missing files, using a range of detection techniques, such as recognition based on file signatures.
