Mount Rainier standard on CD

A Philips - Sony - Compaq (now HP) - Microsoft standard that defines defect management on optical discs (CD and DVD).  A Mount Rainier capable drive handles defect management without the host needing to bother.  Philips promotes the Standard under the Easy Write logo.
